The only problem I have with taking up two spaces is that it tends to incite
some people to take their car keys and leave you a nice long deep souveneir in your paint/bodywork, or sometimes, even a slashed tire.....
Parking out at the end of the parking lot can reduce that risk a lot, but try it upfront and you are almost guaranteed some damage....

Also, when the lot does not have sufficient spaces to park way out without company, there's not much you can do but cross your fingers

So, invest in a rabbits foot!

Next to the nicest car I can find. Then that way his car will get keyed/egged/ w/e you can think of rather than yours. =)

ya it does not stop them!!, I went to the movie theater the other day just in time to watch a beat up chev pickup pull up to a Porsche parked in the far end of the parking lot. He slammed his door violently 3 or 4 times into the Porsche and drove off.
I ended up going to the movie and the whole time I was imagining my new Genesis coupe getting bashed in the far side of the parking lot.

came out and everything was fine......guess he only hates cars from germany.

Jethro's move in the pickup truck would get him shot most places if the owner witnessed it...i was on the jury i'd acquit him
