Default For You Greenies...what's your MPG?

I do mostly highway, 80+ MPH cruising, 60 miles a day...
Off the freeway, I drive mostly citizen normal, with the occaisional
"accelerating against" others and sometimes just empty road balls to the
wall punch out 'cause the devil calls me...my average MPG is 24....what's yours?
Oh, I guess this might make a difference, I have the 3.8 Coupe....

I'm averaging 22 mpg, but today was the first day I drove without the AC on, so it will be better for a couple days

AC? Oh, yeah, you're in Florida...not so much up here...22 mpg doesn't suck..
do you have the 3.8 or 2.2? Highway or stop and go driving?

yeah, rpms seem to be the diff between bigger and smaller bore engines...
back-in-the day when I was running V8 Chevvy iron, the small blocks (327 and 350 engines) always needed more revs than the big blocks (396, 427, 454)(that's cubic inches, not liters for you younger guys) to get the same results...I was mostly a big block guy, but the sweetest little lady that I ever totalled was a 327 cubic inch 1967 Corvette...

My averages have bee very consistant 22-23 MPG in mixed conditions in my 2.0T. From what I have seen so far I think trying to hold 80 MPH fro long would reduce my Mileage. Not as good as I expectd for a 2L 4cyl, but not bad for a sports car that can squirt thrugh traffic like a scalded cat.

    No fair resetting while coasting

I'm averaging about 20 in the city and 29 on the highway now that it cooled off some.

During the 100+ summer weather I was barely able to hit 18 in the city. 20 is pretty easy to get now that it's cooled off a bit
