Well if everything goes right in the new 2013 Genesis Coupe models the new GDi 3.8 will be getting much improved fuel economy! Also the new twin-scroll 2.0 might do better but I'm a bit upset they didn't just give it the GDi 2.0 Turbo from the Sonata? Oh well!

I have a 2012 3.8 and I'm getting 18-19 city driving if I'm grannyin' it...15 if I drive it how I want to. I have gotten upwards of 24.2 on the highway at an average speed of 70.

i drive 100 miles a day for work. i am averaging 28mpg. i have a 2.0T coupe 6spd m/t. i drive I-95 (work is 1/2 mile off interstate exit). i set my cruise at 65mph. i am taching just over 2500rpms. i don't use the cars mpg readout,i use my trip meter and divide actual miles driven to gallons of gas put back in tank. that computer readout isn't accurate.
