What is your source on this? I find it a little hard to believe "soon" if at all but I'd love to get one!

it would be hard for hyundai to pull that off....espeically with a the sequential gear box

Hmm.... I like the fact that it uses the V8 from the Genesis sedan, but for as it being rear wheel drive and only a 2 seater makes it useless for me. Also would be worried about hitting something with the front end... Wheres the protection in a front end collision?

2009 SEMA: Millen-Tuned Hyundai Genesis RMR460 Could See Limited Production

With his performance tuning team on hand and Hyundai executives smiling widely, veteran racer and sports car builder Rhys Millen revealed his completely custom Genesis Coupe RMR460 to an awaiting SEMA Show crowd.

It's as close to being a production ready car as any specially built concept can be, Millen explained to us before the reveal. "It's quite refined," he added. Indeed, upon closer inspection of the RMR460 during its debut, all the details were taken care of. From the RMR bodykit and massive StopTech brakes, to the three-piece HRE wheels and distinct paintjob, the 460 has all the bases covered.

If it's the first time you've heard about Millen's creation, his team transplanted a modified 500-hp Tau V-8 into the belly of a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. It's naturally aspirated with a bumped up compression ratio, independent throttle bodies, and AEM engine management system giving the extra grunt.

Inside, it's as snug as a stock two-door Genesis. Twin Sparco buckets and a revamped dash with carbon fiber accents incorporate a hint of luxury into the 460. Look rear past the buckets and an intricately crafted glass divider provides a clear view of the monstrous Tau. Alcantara lines both doors and dash.

A handful of clones could be in the works should there be enough customer interest, Millen said. "It's fully registered and street-legal. A true sleeper in every sense of the word," he pointed out. A few more test sessions are on schedule for the 460, so stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.
