Alright, I'm just not understanding this thread. Or, I understand it, and it makes no sense. If everything came standard, then the car couldn't be had for ~$22k. I can understand how it would be nice to be able to pick and choose options, but that is exactly why Hyundai placed this thing into (basically) 6 different categories. 3 for the 2.0T, and 3 for the 3.8. Yes, there are ways to cross breed some of these, and get mixed options, but generally speaking...
People are so happy that this thing is such a great value. But they are constantly saying how it doesn't have this, or doesn't have that. We can't have both, can we? Alright, I'm only down to my final 3 days until I get mine. I'm working on almost 11 months since I decided this was my next car. So to be fair, I do not have as much inside knowledge as all of you lucky GC owners. But I have driven them, and know what to look for. But there is no substitute for experience and time.
I just fee that the GC is a heck of a great deal, no matter what trim package, and don't see the point in knocking the car you bought. To say it another way, if you got the top of the line, and it still didn't have something, then maybe it seems ok to rant. But getting the base model, and complaining that it is missing features, seems weird to me. Flames begin now...
