Went to the dealer...

So i went to my local dealer just to look around, and i parked up by the doors.

So i looked to the left of me and i saw a 3.8 IY GC track edition so i walked up to it and i noticed it had the navi, but then my dad (who went with me) said hey its an auto, and i was like

!!!! it was a ZF paddle shifter auto 3.8 Track GC....

i was like holy crap, then the salesman came up to us, pretty cool dude, and said yeah its on the new gc models, you can get a track in auto now, they had like 15 new gc and about 10 of them were tracks, all but two were auto!!! i was like damn, thats pretty cool... so it was a pleasant surprise to see the new gc in a track model in auto..

i told him that if he gets a MB 2.0T r-spec or track hit me up, since im going to be ready to get mine in jan... i cant wait, im so close to getting my car!!!

I know the feeling of having to wait. I currently live in Germany but am moving back to the US in less than four weeks. I have already sold my ride and placed a security deposit over the phone on an LRG 3.8L Coupe in Arizona. Now every day I just sit in front of my computer and watch GC videos and read the forums...

Life pretty much sucks right now!

There are more auto trans in the Gen coupe then manual no matter what trim. I had a helluva time getting a track with manual and navi.

when I orderd my gc I had a choice and wanted a 6 speed... A TRUE SPORTS CAR...

i live in chicago and literally started looking for a 6 speed, 3.8 track genesis coupe in Bathurst black since march... i didnt want to order one form the dealer cause i have had bad experinces with that in the past, it took me a long time to finally find a 6 speed all the dealerships i was looking though had them in auto..... i finally got mine at the end of july

Yea Im wondering why everyones getting autos... o well turque converter will eat about 20hp if not alot more so the manauls will always be faster...

actually every report shows the autos are two tenths faster to 60mph and the gap grows as the distance gets longer... just check the reviews online.
I believe its due to the difference in gear ratios in the rear axle, not the transmission.
