    Default AC not very cold

    Hi

Anyone else feel that the AC in the coupe is not as cool as it should be.

Our other car Hyundai Sonata has much more effective AC.

Anything the dealer can do the adjust the temp?

    Thanks

Hmmm, mine is pretty cold. Do you have the auto climate control and have it set to "Lo"?

Take it back to the dealer and ask them to purge and recharge the system and all will be good. I had the same problem. Works (brrr) great now.

Well so it happens I am a refrigerator tecnician, I would need to know first what would be the normal air exaust temp on a 100% working coupe. It should be arround 42F to 48F so if you have something thats on the 50's then you ned to get the re-purge indeed. Can anyone can pitch in with their a/c output temps?

my friend told me to "break it in"? I thought it was stupid at the time, but now at 1000mi the A/C seems colder than before, so maybe he was right?

I brought up the AC not being very cold when I went in for service and they said they did a full diagnostic and everything was running "normal". When I got the car back it was running cooler.... I think they might have added more freeon or whatever.
