    Default PowerAXEL VirtualGauge

I'm posting this here to help get enough interest to bring the Virtual Gauge to uNavi owners.
This is not a sale thread or a group buy, just need people to say if they want it or not.

Of yesterday's conversation with Unavi ceo, he says the any form of VID or (add Virtual Gauge) will slow down the navigation processor. To run VID of any kind, the CPU has to change and consequence will not know unless going through testing.

Currently, only YF Sonata navi system with new UI may work friendly with (changed to Virtual Gauge not VID) attachment.

However, Unavi ceo mentioned that his priority is to have stability of USA software first and not adding more aftermarket products. Plus, generalize product is something he'll consider to do next. Not VID or Virtual Gauge.

Once the start up biz for YF Sonata work, Unavi want to try 2 channel black box so call in Korea. a/v clip real time streaming with front and rear view camera, voice, g-sensor to surveillance after parking, before/after accident capture.

"recent Korean news, wife secretly install this unit and caught her husband cheating in the car".

    Back to subject~

I brought up other thread about the Virtual Gauge (different with VID).

Since I personally need to monitor the 3.8 superchager's EGT, boost, other temperatures, I am investing on my own to try this. Therefore, I bought 2 sets of Virtual Gauge (Korean version) to bring it over here to test.

Personally, I prefer metric system where I grew up with.

3.8 GC will test with Sonata X1 CPU model.
2.0T GC will be test with current model on Arvin's car like everyone else with GC.

For these 2 sample units, I paid MSRP of $500 each + additional DHL shipping.

Again, this is Virtual Gauge...not VID, since some have comments about their confusion before.

If this system work on both CPU, we'll then gauge further interest to bring US conversion standard in mph, psi, ft etc.

At this stage, I am not worry about how slow it gets for navigation. Its my personal investment.

Tune Tech MOQ is 50 sets, and we worry about this later.

Just to show you understand, here is the link of Virtual Gauge. Outcome, I or PA staff will post follow up.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE! This works for 2.0T folks as well as 3.8's and is ready for PA's SC Kit for the 3.8's.

Some people and I have been working on a basic CAN display using that screen, but my progress has been delayed several times on it and I haven't gotten any updates from the other folks.

My biggest issue right now is my unavi has died on me and apparently because I've been discussing how to hack the unavi with other people I'm probably going to be SOL (no warranty) despite the fact I haven't hacked mine.
