    To chime in:

Because my last car got it's hood rock-eaten over the years, I literally drove directly from the dealership to the clear-bra installers. I went with a shop that uses VentureShield.

    Pros:
Thin, only visible from very slight angle.
Lifetime warranty (if it peels, they'll replace it, anywhere in the country)

    Cons:
Installation is shop-dependent. If they're bad at it, you'll either have to make them redo it, or in some cases, shops cut the bra on the car, scoring the finish.
Self-installation is possible, but requires an extrememly clean area and some luck/skill. (I bought a Nu-solis screen, and then decided that it wasn;t a good idea...)

My shop did a phenomenal job, and I haven't had any issues. Unfortunately, the only rock I've had hit my car shipped the windshield.

The day after i bought my Interagos Yellow Coupe, I had the clear Bra put on professonaly. That was the best $600 i ever spent. I did the hood, bumper, mirrors and behind the front and back wheels.
I also had the door edges done. I would not even think about doing it myself. I have 7,500 miles on the car and not a single chip. It is easy to clean and bugs come right off.
I think the door edges are a must have. I would like to find a product for the windshield?

i used to work with ppf installers since i used to tint....and no matter how good the installers do, product itself can fail bigtime. fading to yellow, and Cracks up. some of well known and supposely the best product in the market has cracking issue. so make sure you get your written warranty!!!!!
and I Am interested in the road warrior stuff.
