    Please post a guide to the install of the KP Tech unit. Im interested in it but don't know if I can find the right wire to install it. (Its supposely finicKy about what power line you use.)

    It probably needs to be powered by the always on memory circuits.

    I would think that would be bad... It needs to be on a line that only turns on after starting. The issue is that if it turns on before start it will send the palse and the computer wont receive it.

    No the memory module needs to be powered so it remembers where you had it, on or off. The switch only sends a ground pulse to the ECS module. If the car is not on then nothing happens. It may have to have a switched power too that actuality sends the pulse, if you had it off.

    Will find out soon.

    How does it know when to send the pulse then?
