All I can say to the above is.. LOL
I think there is a lot of overreaction on both sides of this topic, and just to set things straight, I am not selling these, I'm was originally trying to gain interest because I want a set and there is a minimum order (20sets) we now have about 30 people ready to buy, across multiple forums, so that goal was already accomplished. But, this is a one time run, not a production item from FRIXA, so I wanted to give everyone who might be interested an opportunity, as they may not be available again.
Coupeguy, if you are happy with your brake pads, so be it, I'm not saying they are bad (though the brembo ones are, in all reality, a poor design) this thread and my other are simply informative, not a sales pitch.

The "ruin your sales pitch & "better brake distance for bragging rights" was just too corny & unnecessary, Sorry if I came off raw but there's ways to get answers without putting down members input.
So take 2 chill pills n if they work for you? Ill take 1 after you.

hey guys, i've decided to sign in just to see and respond to some questions, etc. feel free to contact me whenever.
some background info on frixa:
Established in 1991, Frixa burst into the marketplace with an innovative new method on making brake pads. They were awarded the President's and Minister of Commerce's awards, and have been granted a patent in Germany, the USA, Japan, and Korea. They are GS Mark, GQ Mark, QS9000, and ISO9001 certified. Frixa is a Hankook company, and work closely with them in developing and producing these brake pads.
The testing procedures done to these brake pads have been enormous. In addition to various testing machines, they've also done real world/circuit testing. Frixa brakes are designed to maintain reliable and consistent performance through various driving conditions. With their unique blend of friction material (aramid fibers and potassium hextitanate as the main materials, with a little bit of steel) they minimize brake noise, wheel dust, rotor wear, and low brake fade at high temperatures. In addition they have kept it environmentally friendly by not using asbestos, chrome, mercury, lead, or cadmium. All brakes are tested at Hankook's facilities, then sent off to Akebono's facilities in Japan for testing (one of the biggest manufacturers of brakes in the world), then off to the streets and race tracks.
these brake pads have been used on many test vehicles - from street to race. RStars's brake pads are relabelled Frixa pads. Frixa is also the primary brake pad sponsor for Korea's DDGT one make genesis coupe race.
additionally, you'll be hard pressed to find any other manufacturer who will release their brake pad test information. this is how much we believe in this pad!

Red: subjected temperature
Green: stock brembo pads
Blue: Street pads
Fuschia: Race pads

this is friction, noise, pad temperature test results for teh street pads.

so why buy brakes when your regular brakes are fine? well, if you don't do anything besides going to the grocery store, or work, sure, your stock ones will be fine. if you plan on doing ANY track events, or mountain driving, or drifting, you'll quickly find just how pathetic our brake pads are. even in daily driving, wouldn't stopping faster be a good idea if say...someone cut you off? or a ball rolls in front of you and a kid is chasing it?
bragging rights, no, nobody brags about brake pads. everyone brags about how much power they put down. or how fast they can go around a track/go down a track (depending on your racing preference).
personally i find the non brembo brakes terrifying. maybe because i'm used to being able to stop on a dime. i'm sure there are meets in your area, and there are more and more people upgrading to frixa pads. sit in their car and you'll see.
questions?

No questions here. I have upgraded pads on my G. My G stops 12 feet shorter. I'm trading my G for a 370z soon and going to finance a genesis coupe instead of keeping the G. I'm looking forward to the 200lbs reduction of the genesis. Also looking forward to the power of the brembos with new steel braided brake lines and some high quality brake pads. I'm aiming for 99ft from 60mph. Crossing my fingers. I think it may be doable in genny?

99ft from 60 would be awesome braking, hopefully it won't make the brakes twitchy.
