So I caught the under side of my front bumper on a curb. There's a good gash now on the downward facing side. Its not visible unless you know its there and get down on your hands and knees but its there alright. Since that's a plastic part is that an area I can ask the body shop to do a touch up on? Or is that pretty much something that would require replacing the bumper?

I don't really want to replace it since its so hard to see but I also don't like that its there so I want it fixed.

Well, I've been looking around...I think I can get a bumper repair done in the $200 - $300 range. That's kinda cash I wanted to put into a new grill but I think this needs to be done first. I'll go insane knowing that's there.

Shits gunna happen, if you can't visibly see it unless your on your hands and knees like you say I would try and forget about it. Save that money and put it towards something you will notice.

Or do what I'm doing, get the sequence x front lip to cover it up :P

I've thought about the front lip actually but this is slightly above where the lip would cover I believe. I'll take another look today and decide if I need to fix it. I promise to breath slowly

Haha David I did the same thing many times. Mines not on a front facing part only the underside. Us computer guys are very OCD by nature and just knowing it's there kinda bothered me too haha. Either way move on to the next mod like a grill and you'll feel better about your front end

You guys are right. When I go to starbucks in a few I'll make sure that you can't see it from any angle except when you bend over and if you can't, then I'll try and put it out my head. (though if anyone ever notices I have several bumper repair guys numbers ;) )

I'll get a grill next month and forget about it!

Well, unfortunately now that I've seen it during the day, it is visible. I had to bend over to see it in the garage because I was so close to the car but standing back from it the scuff mark is definitely visible without bending over so I'll be checking my different options. In a couple weeks after I'm back from New Jersey I'll have it taken care of. Its a pretty minor thing so I should have it good as new pretty easily. (Or...good enough that noone will ever know ;) )
