    The 3.8 is by far a way more fun and sporty driver in stock form. I also find with the 3.8 simple bolt ons can really wake the car up. Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, Headers will dramatically increase the feel as well. As for the 2.0 in it's stock form I've found it to be a little sluggish on the bottom end but up top it seems to pull pretty hard. We'll see once Lindsey gets and intake and exhaust on her 2.0 how well it takes to upgrades.

    Also in the future expect a nice supercharger kit for the 3.8 and then you'll be cranking away around 400-450whp!

    I love my 2.0T, it's like a squirrel.. but it's powerband can be a bit unpredictable due to Hyundai's ECU programming. Also, the 2.0T has a seriously glitchy M/T where as the 3.8 doesn't seem to have any issues. Really all depends on what you want to do with it. I wanted power, tweakablitity and gas milage.

    I had this same decision to make, and while I think the aftermarket will be more extensive for the turbo, I don't really want to have to mod a brand new car right off the bat to get the power levels to where I'd like.

    Also, I was wondering if the 2.0T caught on with the younger crowd and became more of an insurance risk like the WRX's turned out to, if my insurance would shoot up down the line.

    2.0 track is the only way to go. A peppy little engine right out of the box that has so much more to give. Incredible brakes with the brembos, and of course the rearend.

    How do you figure the 2.0 Track is the only way to go? What's the matter with a loaded 3.8 Track?

    i think its beneficial for 3.8T than 2.0T cuz more power is put out and plus the stock turbo to put out that much HP for 2.0T is a lil low end for me after i thought about it

    the only way to go is with a Genesis, personal preference decides the rest. I'm sure you'll love the 3.8, it's a great engine and an amazing car.
    Like Casey said, there are companies doing bolt on Turbo and Supercharger kits so if you're hungry for more power they'll have you covered.
    Post up some pics when you get it! Got a colour picked already?

    @Insane
    do US insurance companies really do that? Thats kind of stupid.

    Yeah. The WRX or STI now over here comes with a hefty premium even if your record is clean because so many of them are bought, modded, crashed/ticketed by younger drivers, they consider it a "high risk" car.

    You'll get no argument from me about how stupid it is...
