Default Genesis delivery and Bluetooth audio

    Hi all,

Picked up my Genesis from the dealer yesterday (3.8 / manual / grey)... had a phenomenal drive home. It was snowing but that probably saved me from pushing it to hard and wrapping it around a tree on my first day! Will post pics after a few more posts.

Only disappointment so far is that I didn't realize only the nav stereo seems to support streaming audio over bluetooth. I have the infinity 10-speaker 6-CD (with ipod/usb/aux) and it has the bluetooth logo right next to the infinity logo but I don't see any options for music (only phone).

This is how I hoped to integrate my BlackBerry and have the nice in-dash radio controls. ipod has the cable integration but I'm assuming you don't get the in-dash controls connection BB with USB/aux.

Any thoughts? Would be thrilled to be wrong here...

    Thanks!

I don't think you can stream music via bluetooth. You are able to use the bluetooth for hands free calling though. As for using your blackberry with the radio you'd have to get an auxilary input cable from the blackberry to the car inside the center console.

Not sure you will be able to use the in dash controls to work the blackberry media player though

Try getting a USB cable for your blackberry... it will sync all the music on your phone to the radio in the same way a flash drive would
