actually they adjust the sticks pivot point to make the throw longer! I am going in Saturday to see if they can only do the fluid swap and not the stick adjustment... wish me luck!

Mr Grynch - let me know how you make out, and also...do you know the manufacture date of your GC? (see below)

I spoke to my dealer previously about that campaign/TSB..they say that the manufacture date has to be prior to June xx 09...Mine is July, so it technically doesn't qualify. They said they can get around that, but I'm wondering if my car already has the upgraded fluid/TGS/knob. They couldn't answer that, so I may have them perform the work anyway to be sure.

My car's build date is Feb, they did a whole tranny swap in... November? October? Can't remember which, but it still sticks, it's still shitty shifting in the winter, I'm sure it's just an all around crappy transmission. Hyundai has not had a whole lot of luck with transmissions.

yesterday I took my car to the car wash to get the road salt off it, found out the car wash doors would close and they had a massive heater in there. Sat in the car for awhile after it's rinse and let everything warm up. Tranny worked amazing, it just doesn't like cold apparently.

whatever they stuck in it... no idea, got new tranny installed and drove away. Figured everything was ok. Still sounds like a pack of ball bearings at 6k though..

Hi all, I posted this on my another thread... I as well experienced this shift problem today. I have contacted my dealer to have this looked into when I bring it in for it's first oil change. Not sure it is related to cold weather and car washes or not, either way, this should not happen. I am lucky my car is in my garage and in a warm garage at work so this does not come up too often. But this will need to be fixed. I will post my updates as well...

Hey guys what's up? I'm new to the forums... I'm born and raised in brooklyn ny. I actually moved down south! Got tired of new york weather and cost of living. Lol I'm in grand prairie tx, for 3 years now, where winters are mostly mild and short.
