Question Gas mileage in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T?

I'm just wondering how much mileage u guys hav been getting for those who hav the 2.0T....

in 1 tank of gas, i got roughly bout 400km but there were a few revs and gunning it on the highway....but tho i thought a tank could get you about 600km - 900km....

    whats your average?

That seems about right depending on the split between city and highway driving. I get anywhere from 350km/215miles to 550km/350miles on a tank of gas depending on my driving. I never saw over 29 MPG from my automatic though and 29 only once on a road trip. The 6mt does get slightly better fuel efficiency.

I mainly drive in town, and I get about... 550km to the tank. A lot worse since I've had to idle the car in the morning/afternoon/and before I go home everyday cause it's so damn cold out. I've driven about 800km pure highway on one tank twice, once to the in-laws, once back from the in-laws. They take a bit to get the best fuel economy and it helps if you stick to one octane of fuel. I only drive Shell V-Power Premium if I can, I started with crappy regular Co-op brand and it was junk.

IIRC the Genesis can run perfectly fine on regular, it just retards timing and spark and you lose a couple of ponies, no?

Running 91 octane (highest available here) I usually got 18-20mpg; never paid attention to miles per tank though. Mixed city/hwy

apparently in the brochure and the hyundai canada website, the city driving mileage says 10.4L/100km....so IF i only drive in the city, i should be getting at least 500km.

when i check the trip computer, i've got between 11 - 13L/100km and ive been driving normally and dont really step on the gas unless i have to...do u think there is a problem with my car?
