I put on winter rims and tires on mine, and it's been fine. We've had snow but not too much, but it's been freezing. I'll post a few pics later this week.

When we had the blizzard back in December, I took my dad's Silverado to work. I had to drive 2 and a half hours through the blizzard for my normal 40 minute commute TO work, got stuck at work for 17 hours because everyone was snowed in, then drove home in my dad's Silverado. I took my car to work the next day and I was able to drive fine. I have the all-weather tires. I had some trouble making a right-hand turn onto a road since it was a giant patch of snow/ice at the corner I was turning at... but other than that, no probs. I've driven our old Z28 in the snow/ice/rain so I knew how to handle it.

the other day it started raining, then froze, the whole town was a sheet of ice. Drove to work in my car and everything was fairly predictable, but then I drove my work truck and I spun out several times!

So I was in Worcester, MA for a few days this week. Thursday it began snowing heavily when they said it was supposed to be flurries. I had a hard time turning with the snow accumulating on the streets. I also slipped and slided when turning or trying to brake. I find more of a problem with light snow that isn't packed on.
