I had put those on my GT...does the 3.8T take the same size? I'll swap them out before I trade the GT in.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe Wing Wheel Cap Install
Yesterday I finally got around to installing the awesome Hyundai Genesis Coupe Wing Emblem Wheel Caps that I got from ImportShark.com
First off these things are not those stinky stick on wheel caps you find from other sites! These wheel caps are an OEM product made by Hyundai/Mobis. These will deffinately spruce up the look of your Genesis after isntalling. They match great with the custom wing emblem sets for the hood and trunk that ImportShark also carries.
The installation was really simple! There are a couple of ways you can go about doing this.
Stock center caps installed on my 18" Genesis Coupe Wheels.
To remove your stock center caps the best way to prevent any sort of wheel scratching or center cap damage you should jack up the car, take off the 5 bolts, remove your wheel and then pop out the center cap from the inside of the wheel. Simply put the wheel back on, tighten and move on to the next one.
The way that I did the install which is a little more risky but a HELL of a lot quicker is to find a durable, soft (preferably rubber), flexible flat edge. You take the edge and wedge it in between the side of the wheel and center cap and pry the wheel cap out. This method for me was accomplished using a butter knife wrapped in electrical tape. Be care though because as the next picture shows items that are a bit too solid can bend the center cap edge. The four caps were removed and there was no damage to the wheels but two of the stock H caps were bent on the edges. This is okay though because I didn't plan on re-using them.
Next we take our new Genesis Wing Wheel Caps and use a flat palm to pop them into place on the wheels. Next simply peel off the protective film to reveal its true beauty! Do not worry about the emblem being right side up
Now after all four caps are installed stand back and enjoy your stylish new mod!

Note that these are NOT just Genesis Sedan wheel caps. They are professionally customized to fit the Genesis Coupe with ZERO modifications to do yourself. Plus, with OEM quality, you know they won't eventually fall off like the ones with tape. (Unless you live in an area where they don't use road salt).
Very Nice!!!
I have a Black Coupe like you do and was wondering how these caps would look with it.
Wish we could have gotten a black backgrouind to the wings, but the slate gray definitely works...
I am plannng to do mine tomorrow, but think I'll do it the long way, since I couldn't bear it if I f...ed up my wheel.

The ones I bought (part number 52960 3M000) do NOT fit the 19" wheels on my Track. They look identical to the ones used here in this DIY. They're the genuine Mobis / Hyundai ones that came in individual sealed parts bags. They would need to be just a few millimeters larger in diameter to stay in. I've heard that these are supposed to fit the 19" wheels, but has anyone actually got them to fit?
I was originally looking to buy the stick-on ones to place over the existing caps, but I couldn't find them so I bought these. I'm going to look again into buying those again to install until I can afford the wheel upgrade I'm doing next year.
So if anyone else has been able to get wing caps on 19" track wheels, what did you go with?
Bought mine from Import Shark, they fit fine. Tried the stick on first and mashed one putting them on. They are flimsy and have space between them and center cap that makes it very easy to dimple them.
