My husband would not recognize the Korean character for “Joe”, while he will recognize the Chinese character for his family name.
That Chinese character is a strong tie to his family and family’s history:
His Mom always signs her art work with it, she signs all of her cards to us with it and the character marks his family member’s gravestones,
several who are now buried here in Texas, in Houston.

I can see how it could appear odd having a Chinese character on a Korean car and that’s one of the reasons I wanted everyone’s opinions.
I’ll certainly consider it further…

I don't think it would be od at all actually. Just because you're a korean car doesn't mean you are a korean driver ;)

Very interesting idea. I'd like to see pricing and results first though. Keep us updated!

yeah i see what u saying.~ ^^ ~ i never seen a car with korean emblem anyways.. i mean never~ LOL that's why i was wondering if anyone's going to design one.~ well since i have Roadruns grille.,,, I will try to make a design for it and see what i can do~

OK...Mike promply got back to me yesterday with approximate pricing on my particular design.

He let me know that the replacement triangle emblem would be in the $30 range or probably less.
(I'm quite happy with that quote!)
And he said he can do my design but he'd need it in a high-resolution image file with a transparent background.

If you're interested in doing a custom design, be sure to PM him directly to get quotes.
I say that because I'm guessing that pricing and such might vary depending on the complexity of your designs.

you can actually take out the emblem and put a Kanji decal on there to save some money ....

$30 bucks isn't that bad at all.. i'm just wondering about the quality~..

yeah but its a pain to learn.. all I know how to write is "yutmogo" (sorry for my poor english version) which directly means "eat candy" but in slang means "f*ck you"
