No way man...this is REALLY easy! Just time-consuming.
I have a detailed DIY for installing the rear wing emblem, so that should help you there.

As for the front emblem, you can either remove the front bumper or just the OEM front grill. Personally, I'd recommend taking off the bumper since it's easier. Either way, I have DIY's for both of these.

Will post up all three in a little while, but feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions...

The rear shouldn't be a problem to DIY, it just takes floss, rubbing alc., and a good 15 minutes. The front wing emblem is the bitch, I would look 4 one of the members who have messed with it.

The rear all you have to do is go from one of the curved sides of the H and you do a saw kind of movement up and down, until you hit the support pin, then you go from the other side till you hit the second support pin. Then you can pretty much pull the rear emblem off, if it doesn't come off easy get a string of floss and and just try to grove it around just to loosen up the emblem more.

Once your done I would take a rag and the rubbing alc. To clean up where the emblem was, it will take a little time but it will clean up nicely. Once you are done you can put your new emblem on.

I wouldn't suggest getting a shop to do it bc it would be a waste of money. Maybe a local gen guy can help with the front emblem.

Ditto that…please save your money! I did the rear end emblem some time ago and I finally tackled the front end emblem just this past weekend. I’m about the goofiest and unhandy person you’ll come across but I managed both just fine. Being both goofy & unhandy, I was super skeptical of my ability to go the traditional routes of removing the bumper or grill. So, I have to admit, I went “old school” on the front end: I just ripped that bitch off using three tools (flat head screwdriver, iPhone & sledgehammer). I hope to figure out how to post the pics I took during the process very soon.

The entire install is a piece of cake. If you can't do this mod then you shouldn't be doing any other ones. We've got some youtube coverage of the install over at youtube.com/cflgenesisclub

    Good luck!
