IMO if you are gonna replace your badges I would go with something generic like the MS carart badges at importshark. Putting Genesis coupe badges on a Sonata would be like putting Tiburon badges on an Accent.
My wife and I are considering a new 2011 Sonata, BUT, I do not like the oem Hyundai "H" badges on the front and rear. I have been a member here since almost the beginning of the forum but due to work have not had time to check the forum very often. Does anyone know if there are "wing" badges without the "Genesis" or "Genesis Coupe" lettering on them available that will fit in place of the "H" emblem on the Sonata? Does anyone know the company the makes the wing badges so I can contact them to see if they have badges to replace the Sonata badges? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bionichicken![]()

when i first saw this post i was like "what on earth? didn't hyundai set the name of genesis aside as their sub-division with the wing emblem as an exclusive marker? why is the sonata involved?"
imo wing emblem is really not meant for the sonata simply because it was made for the genesis/gen coupe. putting it on is like putting the GT-R or Ralliart badge behind an Infiniti.

Unfortunately, functionality cannot meet up to expectation. Will be the next generation owner when major issues are fixed.
given time some company will make a new badge like they did for the Kia Koup, or just keep the H and represent a quality vehicle.

Well, I see my expertise is required here. Its my job to ascertain whether any modifications are rice. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you, that the alteration that you are considering is indeed in that category. Of course, you should always do what you want with your own car since its, well, your car, but keep in mind that this modification simply can't be sanctioned by this body. Thank you for you time.

Welll, thanks for the posts everyone. I derfinately will wait to see if anything for the Sonata comes out aftermarket I also am going to wait to see the turbo model before any purchase of a vehicle and also will look at the hybrid model when it arrives. We. own a perfectly good Mazda 3 S right now and it is in perfect conditon but with many miles. I have been informed that it will run a lot longer with the 2.3 engine as long as maintenace is done regularly, which it is. Again thanks for the replies.
I would almost feel offended if you put our genesis wings on your Sonata.
Don't get me wrong, I love the new Sonata, especially the SE model. But please, putting stuff that doesn't belong is silly. Respect the GC and let us have our wings.
Thank you hahaha

The Genesis Wing Badge is for the Genesis. There's lots of other badges you can put on you Sonata. The "H" and the new Sonata have lots of respect. Leave the wings for the car their meant for the Genesis.
