Driving along today, big truck about 100 yards up, usually im good about keeping my distance from them and i thought i was far enough but nope! Then i hear a loud smack and from a nice chip in my windshield directly in front of my face! About the size of a dime, i noticed though the glass is still flat and smooth on both sides but it looks like a small bubble inside the glass. Is that because the glass is layered and they split or what? Im feeling pretty sick, especially because its right in front of my face. Time to break out the phone book!

That sucks dude...happened to me to but at least its on the passenger side. In Florida, for bad windshield damage, we're entitled to free repair without a deductable. Maybe Hawaii has that too?

Just paid 60 bucks to fill the crack with resin. I can still see it but it shouldnt spread now. I dont think Hawaii has that Codefox, but that must be nice! If it gets bad then ill go through insurance. Im just bummed that its right in front oif my face! i cant ignore it haha

Haha, I had this issue a bit when I was driving to Texas from Maryland. Cruisin' in my brand new baby and all of a sudden, 'CLINK'. I'm sorry but I break speed limits when trucks start flinging rocks back or bits of debris start flying off their cargo. Glad you atleast got it filled. Hopefully it won't get any worse.

I know how you feel. I had my car less than a week when I got tagged with a rock to the windshield(school bus) . Luckily in Florida, windshield repair is covered free of charge by the insurance company if it is in your field of vision. Guess we need to thank some politician for that one.

have to get my windshield replaced on friday, rock hit windshield and this morning went outside to go to work and it split across.
