Parked out at the end of the supermarket parking lot as usual...
This old hippie looking dude slow rided by in in vintage 380SL Mercedes...
Met up by the door to the market and he said...
"Hey Dude, is that like a Million Dollar Custom Car your are parking all the way out at the back of beyond"????
I decided to shlne him on and said...
"Naw, Man, just the latest Aston Martin, only set me back 250 and change"
And then,
No Shit,
he said
"Groovy"
Considering that I have seen less that half a dozen Coupes since October when I got mine
in the most populous State (or close to it) in the union, I wasn't surpised to get away with that.....anything like that happen to you????

Although ive gotten many compliments on my LRG coupe, one guy asked me once, "How do you like the HONDA...?" lol people are clueless

I was in line at Tim Hortons when a massive guy walked up to me and said "so how much did this cost you?" I was totally freaked out at this point and said "uhhh 25?" then he lean in and said "can you say 50? I have a bet I wanna win"

Lol, haven't had any ask me about it yet, though because of how young I look, I know people wonder how I afford it....and ya, I have seen maybe 1 other GC since I got
mine. Just makes it feel even more special.

ive had 2 people ask me if it was a bentley because of the dark chrome wing emblems... i told the first guy it was a genesis coupe and told the second guy yeah its the new bentley and he totally bought it... hahaha its a good laugh

Speaking of, I actually do drive mine around in suits all the time for work and I literally get at least one comment everytime I drive it. I park it in a garage for the morgan stanley office buildings and the lot is packed with audis, bmws, mercedes, jags, and such and on two occassions I've come out of the elevator with someone who will stop at my car and stare while I wait patiently behind them to get to my trunk. Then i get into the usually convo on what it is and the "i've never heard of a genesis" before, I haven't lied about it yet but I don't think anyone believes me when i say its a hyundai.

The best has to be seeing people in other cars try to figure out what the car is, i've gotten alot of passengers to completely turn 180 to keep looking...I'm in MA so there are almost no GCs up here...

I have debadged everything except the leaning H logo's.
I had 1 guy ask how I liked my new Nissan..........
Nissan? seriously?
he replied that the leaning H looked like an N!!!
OH man......I laughed so hard my gut hurt!

Those are all great stories. No one has confused mine another brand yet, but they keep calling it a tiburon. Lol! A lot of people's eyes are pretty glued to it when I drive by.

Ive seen quite a few Gen's down here in FL where I live.
