hey not to be a pain in the ass or anything but can you make a vid of the HIDs with the switchbacks on (flashing)

basically I want to see if the turn signal orange flash can even be seen next to the HIDs

It can, and yeah I'll redo the vid to include that. Since I have one damaged Switchback you'll get to see what it looks like next to OEM bulbs too. Keep in mind of camera glare though, let you know when it's redone.

yaaa how did the switchback get damaged anyway?

no idea, was just driving along and it failed. Blew the turn signal fuse and the tail lamp fuse, took me like 2 hours to figure out what was causing it, and as a tech I go by trial-error-deduction method, so I blew a few more fuses tracing it. I told the company and they issued a RMA the same day. It's really no biggy, just wish it was the passenger side one so it would have been easier to change out.

Ok so I am planning on buying the HIDs from Diode Dynamics within the week but what size? H11 or H11b and also should I buy a relay harness?

I say get the relay harness, it's an extra line of safety for your OEM wiring harness and once I figured it out it was really easy.. As soon as my strut brace and engine hat come back from the paint booth I'll post a pic of my engine compartment up to date, probably noticed in the video how everything was everywhere.

my other switchback failed last night going to my Auto club meet, talked to the company and they said they want to try the 48-LED rather than the 60 cause the 60 seems to have compatibility issues. So if you've done up your order, change to the 48.

Best of luck on the replacement snoopy. I do like the idea of a white bulb for the DRL instead of the stock amber ones.
