Art of speed emblems corroding

Do any of you have an issue with your Art of speed emblems corroding? I have the dark chrome ones and there are spots all over them that look like water spots but they won’t come off. Any suggestions on how I cant clean them up?

I've heard this is a common problem with the tampon emblems... I mean wing.

Not sure how to clean them but if you got the spots off I'd suggest giving them a clear coat to prevent it from returning.

I'd contact the shop you bought the badges from and be sure to include a few photos so they can see what your talking about. For some reason it seems all too often people are coming to the forums for answers regarding stuff like this but are disregarding the shop that sold them the product. This only causes two issues, first people quit buying the products and second the shop selling the products doesn't know why and that there is an issue with the products they are selling.

No salt on the road in miami snoopy ;) and the reason why i went to the forms first and not the shop is because the shop is ebay and i doubt the seller is interested in my complaints lol

No salt on the roads, plenty of salt in the air.

Well, there's your problem. Ebay! Just kidding. Was it a new, used or open item sale? Is the seller a dealer, authorized dealer or private? If it was a used or open item, you can still try to contact them to see if they can give you information as to where they got it from. It might at least start the wheels turning. However, like you mentioned, the seller will probably care less about your problems. If it's new, don't they offer a warranty with the product? I'm sure it's been less than a year since you got it. Anyways, good luck with this misfortunate adventure. I do hope things work out in your favor. Keep us posted.

All if the dark chrome ones have problems. Go with standard bright chrome and you'll be fine! Mines holding good after over a year in the hot fl sun.

I have no idea which one I ordered.. hoping it's bright chrome so it matches my other emblems.
yeah.. not a lot of snow in Miami (lucky SOB's), but there isn't a lot of salt in Sask cause the wind just gets rid of it.
does it feel ridged at all or just kinda different from the rest?

I originally ordered dark chrome but switched because of this. Sucks that you had it happen. You may be able to get it refinished too...I've seen people doing that
