i would of though the superlux would have come with a LED rev.
but a quick fix.

I don't have superlux tails, and when I asked Paul about LED replacements for the Reverse Lights he said it was a no go.. went to somewhere else for the bulbs and they're really bright too, I can actually drive in reverse at night now.

DD's gear is pretty good, all my interior stuff is through them.

They certainly appear brighter but do they actually give you better or worse viability when backing up?

The visibility is actually better and the light is more pure white. Looks really nice out on the road. I apologize if it was hard to see in the clips. Great little mod if you wanted a fully LED setup. Plug and play.

Which bulbs did you order? I emailed Paul about the SL reverse light and he said he didn't carry anything even close to bright enough.

These are the 9-LED (194 9-5050 SMD) bulbs that are found in the Stage 3 kit. I did the same thing Casey did, and the result is pleasing, though slightly less bright that the original bulbs.

Correct on the bulb sizes!

It would be hard to tell if they were less bright or not for my eyes. You could be right though. Could always measure the lumens I guess

the tricky thing about halogen or incandecent bulbs is their dispersal, they give such a broad band of light that it always appears brighter even if it isn't actually.
