Thread: NGM Hyundai/KIA Mean Streets Meet

Well its official we are having a nation wide meet here in Dallas Texas for those Hyundai/KIA Car Enthusiast. It will be held at TC Next Generation Shop. For those of you that don't knew him or don't know what he does. He produces aftermarket parts for the Tiburon Community and rumor has it hes going to start working on the Genesis 3.8. This meet is to bring all forms of Hyundai/KIA owners together so we can chat and of course show are rides off. So if your wanting to join in the fun post here and let us know if you can attend. Bring the family out. It doesn't matter if your new to the community or a old timer just come out and have some fun.

EVENTS

Camping VS Hotels: Who needs to spend money on Hotels when we can just camp out right. TC has found a nice area that we can hang out and chill and most of important for you locals rest and get some sleep. The camping area is at Lake Ray Roberts. Show N Shine: This event is basically a show and shine. If your participating in this event we will need to put a 5$ or 10 $ contribution fee. The winner of this event will take home all the cash. So get that ride clean

NGM RIDE OF THE MONTH Every month NGM holds a poll for the best rides on there forum. Well we decided since we will have a bigger amount of rides at the Mean Street Meet. Why not hold the ROTM at the Shop. Only the baddest rides will win this event. So if you think your ride fits this category then your welcomed to enter. The winner will have his/her ride on NGM front page so all members can see the amazing work you have done

Bragging Rights Track Event So you think you did enough work to your ride that it can hang with best. Well lets see what it can really do. We will be having a track day during the 3 day event. We are still working out some details and renting the track o just stay tuned for more info.

Auto X Track EventWhere hoping to bring a Auto X event to the Mean Streets Meet. We still have some things to work out. Stay tuned.

Parts Parts and More Parts This is event for you that are selling parts. Bring them to the meet and maybe your get lucky that someone will want them. If you are a business and have a number of parts please let us know so we can let all members know what you will be selling and at what price. If your a Sponsor on a forum and would like to contribute a part or parts let us know. Your company name will be entered in the NGM Mean Street Meet Video so can see.

AJ ( Fixer ) will be offering a number of stuff for the members attending. He will be offering CCFLs ( Angel Eyes ) for you Tiburon members. He will also be offering HIDs in any size and all BI- XENON ( MOVING ) HIDs. If your wanting to buy please PM all your car info. For the HIDs these have to be pre-ordered so please give us a heads up. We ask that if your wanting HIDs to let us knw before the date so we can have them ready for you. We can install them. From there we will set a price and get it moving. This is really a deal for you locals but I also help Out of Towners so just let me know what you want done. The Schedule

This is how everything will break down.

So here is the start of the schedule of events.

Friday night the 23rd - Drag Racing at Northstar Dragway in Denton, Texas, this track is right at 20 miles away from the camp site. It is an 1/8th mile track, and Friday night is their test and tune or grudge night.

Late Friday night - camping and resting and drinking.

Saturday - Josh/Wheelman is working on putting together an AutoX event that we can run. He is working out the details on it and putting together some track designs (more to come). Ideas and anyone that can assist Josh putting this together please PM him

Saturday night - Camping/Bonfire/Cook Out/ Drinks etc etc ... (more to come)

Sunday - Show and Shine car show Everyone show off their cars and what you have done with them ... share with others and we'll have a vote on the show winner ... We may put together a small pot between those that enter to award the winner. (More to Come)

Club Members

Are you part of a local group that will be attending the Mean Streets Meet. If so let us know the name of the club. Why you ask there will be video made and your Club will be listed of groups attend. If you have banners and would like to bring to the meet that's fine. Just make sure the banner has no rude comment or symbols on it.

We will be having a BBQ and if you would like to bring something you can. If you have a special dish or snack please dont be shy. Make it and we will eat it. If your wanting to help out then that's great. Remember the little stuff like soda, buns, plates, and snacks are a great thing to bring.

There will be added info so please stay tuned. You have 5 months to plan and to get your ride up to par. Events are due to change or even added events.
