Texas meet THIS Tuesday!? Wikki-Wikki-Whaaaat!?!

Late yesterday afternoon, to my great surprise and delight, I discovered while lurking on “the other Gen Coupe forum” that a Texas Genesis Coupe meet has been planned and is scheduled for this coming Tuesday(08/18/09). It gets even better (for me): this Texas meet is happening in the very town in which I reside. At last count, I think I saw about 5 owners & 1 enthusiast planning to attend. This will be their first meet.
So, CWLTT you’ve previously mentioned a Central South meet, and given that, I have three words for you: Road Trip, Baby!!
C’mon Central South members: What an awesome opportunity!
CMcCane: I suggest you arrange for vacation immediately, gather any remaining decals you have, put your woman in your car and get your keister over here.

I plan to roll up with two enthusiasts stuffed in the Coupe with me. We'll either be welcomed and asked to join or we'll be viewed as interlopers and be told to piss off.

I think the latter is highly unlikely given that these people seem to be genuine in their love for the car.

If it were next weekend a texas road trip might be doable I've got family that live there!

if i was still on summer break i could, but right now i cant, next time lets make sure its like on a saturday, or etc, so i can drive down like friday, etc...

maybe next time, def post up pics!

Yes! Pics for sharing are most definitely my plan.
(Did a nice DIY wash Sunday morning in anticipation…then, of course, this
morning I was forced to drive through a flipp’in rushing rapids river
-compliments of a seriously bust up sprinkler head. Doh! :001_smile

Awesome!!!! Damn rpeeljoe your Tsukuba coupe stands out against the rest! Glad to see a few of them have started modding also. The KW coupe looks to have the M&S grill! Saweet.

What all did you guys do? I think that further down the line we should have a huuuuge south east meet for everyone as maybe some sort of big festival or something hah.

Looking forward to the rest of the pics!
