I agree.... but in here in OK, it seems every year that the highway patrollers take the day off on Thanksgiving eve. I never saw a single one in OK, coming or going.... now in TX, well that's a whole other story. And it's funny that as soon as you hit the TX state line everyone slows WAAAYY down. Those TX HP guys drive everything under the moon so they blend in very well. All in all, I agree that this little coupe of ours seemed to love the 80-90 zone very well!!

Yeah, I think 80-90 mph is La Coupe's comfort zone for cruising...
You're lucky out there in OK that the Staties there tuck into the turkey
on Thanksgiving instead of gnawing on your bone, unlike here in the PRNJ
    where they "surge" on holidays....
However, sounds like PRNJ is luckier than Texans when it comes to unmarked Staties, as I have never seen them cruising the interstates in anything but Crown Vics with blacked out tint windows (which is illegal for civilians here as is almost everything else fun), lately some Dodge Challengers, and the occasional Dodge SUV....once your learn the headlight/parking light patterns, you can cruise at night with just the occasional glance in the rear view to see if they are sneaking up on you.....
