    Default BTRcc Ecu Tune 3.8 V6 A/T

I was given the opportunity BTRcc (Blood Type R Car customs) to come to A-spec in schaumberg to recieve the tune for the Lambda RS3800. To be completely honestly I didn't what to expect. The guys on BTRcc are very knowledgable of the gencoupes whether its the 2.0t or the 3.8. As soon as my gen coupe was tied down to the dyno, I was able to see what the baseline was on my 3.8 auto.
after the base run, the car generated 250 whp and 240 ftlb torque. the guys at BTR were explaining to me how our cars have a time lag in throttle response. the mid range range was where the dip revealed itself on the graph especially the torque. the point of the tune was to eliminate the lag.
Run after run, as the tuner continued to mess around with the ecu, I could already notice the difference just by listening to my car which is 100% stock. But after the tune, the car's output increased to 263 whp and 244 ftlb of torque and the mid range power dip was completely eliminated. :P
After the tuning session, it was time to sign up for the next AutoX to see what results were.
at first I was struggling to find the best time to open the throttle coming out of slaloms and corners, because I kept forgetting, time lag has been eliminated.
In the morning my gencoupe, was difficult to tame, but as the day progressed, i began to see that I was able to tackle the course more aggressively and I could clearly see that the low speed sections and the tight z corners, were significantly easier to enter and exit. though the car just wants to get sideways every now and then.
The overall change I can see from this tune; is the car just wants to go faster, and the 1:1 throttle response is unbelievably responsive and perfect for autoX. Because of the overall tune from BTRcc, the car just loves to get sideways every now and then I take a turn.
Thank You for giving me this opportunity BTRcc!! :D

They are planning to have another tuning event from what i heard, and most of the GC's were 3.8 a/t and 6spm. some were bone stock and others had full bolt on's. I'll keep this thread posted on more details about BTRcc
