The 3.8 Gets an Eaton Supercharger!
Check out this sick yellow coupe with an Eaton supercharge bolted on the 3.8 liter Hyundai engine. I've read a little bit about this setup and aparently there is a company in China developing the whole bolt on kit including the new intake manifold etc... I believe price was around $6000.
Making 400+ HP at 0.5 bar boost this should be an amazing upgrade for the 3.8 owners.

I asked Santa for a supercharger for my 3.8 but he said unfortunately the little children in China haven't finished working on the kits yet LOL
The numbers are up in the video above I believe? I've heard over 400HP with no internal upgrades. Plus how sick would it be rolling around with that SC whine from your GC!!!!??

I havent seen any updates on this kit in a while but I'll try and do some investigation and contact my buddy in Korea to see if he's heard anything.

I would be wary of the power numbers with no upgraded internals.
I have a Tiburon with an Eaton sc. I was running about 1/2 pound of boost and with the stock internals it blew up within 20K of installing it. I now have upgraded pistons, rings and rods so I dont have to worry too much about blowing the motor. On the Tiburons the weak link was the piston rings or the ring guides. Basically the part of the piston that the rings are seated in tend to crack and that in turn blows the motor. If your looking to boost the 3.8 motor by 100hp I would be shocked if the reliability was not affected. That is a TON of power to add without upgrading anything in the engine.

please do not compare the lambda 3.8 to the turd that is the 2.7 delta. The ring lands is what fails on them.
