Also as an added note I had already reset my ecu for the higher elevation, and the 114 octane I was running that day. If I had that kind of fuel down in Texas I wouldve been easily been runnin mid 13s as opposed to a 13.85
Hey I was hoping that someone would be able to help me out. I dont really have the abilityl to ship my factory ECU off to be reflashed everytime I change out a couple of parts. I was talking with a local shop out in Reno that would be willing to do my dyno tuning for me, but they couldn't figure out what software they would have to run for the Hyundai ECU. I was just reading another post on here that someone was in a shop and the guy had commented that the ECU and elecronics system looked similar to the Delphi unit in the Corvette. Can anyone out there either confirm or deny this for me? Please help. I went from running 13s in Texas to almost 16 second 1/4 miles up here in high elevation.

Try to get ahold of the guys from PowerAxel regarding what/how the ecu is tuned. If the information isn't propriatery then perhaps they'll share their tuning success with you.

I'm not really going to waste my time with all that they are saying they offer a "tune" but as far as I can tell across the web is that the delphi ecus are almost impossible to crack, and more than likely when you ship your ecu to them they just replace the chip inside it. At least that's what my research is telling me that they do. Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking their services at all. All their customers seem to be happy, but that's what I'm looking for. When they offer the (I think its the power x module?) For the v6 I will be the first. In line to buy it. But. For the time being has anyone tried the Apexi AFC neo? Does anyone know of any air/fuel as well as timing controllers? Not looking for a standalone unit just a piggyback controller that will work
