GC 3.8 M/T noise

Have anyone notice a noise from first to second gear? its like a click, not the noise of gear going in. This is the noise when you go from first, click, then second gear

Yes, I have a similar sound. Doesn't seem to be anything of issue tho. I've taken it to the dealership and they have said its fine and no damage is being/has been done.

the 2.0T and the 3.8 have the same manual transmission from what I'm told.. and if thats true.. just expect issues.

we have never had issues, but we never get to drive her. 9000. km

some people are lucky, I've yet to get a good transmission. I only have 11500 km on my car.

you could just be hearing it pass the reverse location, does it do it from any other gears?

I've got a 2.0t but I hear it every day until the car is fully warmed up, then it only does it a couple times a day after that.

warming it up helps too, but I'm still fairly certain it's not suppose to do it at all.

apparently if you flush the tranny and put new / better quality transmission fluid in it helps stops this. i hear the stuff they put in at the factory is garbage

yeah I heard that too, don't know what to change it to though
