    You can't beat a good synthetic for protection, BUT you also need to use a good quality filter, like a Mobil 1 or a K&N filter (stay away from walmart fram filters that use cardboard inside). Currently Pennzoil Ultra is the best rated synth oil. I'm sure Mobile 1 will have something to compete with it within the next year.

    AMSOIL has historically been the leader in synthetic oil but maybe someone has heard differently. Anyone?
