Default RRM Short Ram Intake Scratching up the wiring/socket to my HIDS

Finally after my car has been submerged under ridiculous amounts of snow these past weeks, I decided to take my car for a spin. After a nice drive, I checked under the hood to check if anything was wrong and to refill washer fluid.
As I was doing that, I noticed that the air filter part of my intake was rubbing against the wire to my left HID headlight.

It only seems to rub against the socket when I really push it. However I dunno if I should leave it alone or reposition my whole short ram intake? I am very OCD when it comes to cases like this.
    Any suggestions? Please help.
I will take pictures later to help further explain my dilemma.

I'd say go for the full CAI tube, that puts the filter below the headlight like next to the washer fluid bottle. Shouldn't have any problems then..

Not really considering buying a whole new intake system just yet. It hasn't been that long at all since I got this intake, which I am please with the performance with.

    Any other suggestions?

Adjust it so it doesn't rub. Then add a rubber pad for more protection

I'm rocking the Injen cold air intake and it's badass! No rubby on my HID's. That's something you might want to submit to RRM though so they can fix their product and possibly offer you some compensation for your damages.

I see...perhaps you can somehow adjust it like the other guys mentioned. That would be the first thing to try.
