Default Aem vs Injen vs RMR Short Ram

Hey just looking at getting an intake and was wondering about the differences between the Aem kit and the Injen one also see RMR has a short ram intake just wanted to know peoples opinions / experiences with either.

I have an AEM cai in my 08altima 3.5 and an injen cai in my 09 G37s coupe. I can say the both work pretty similarly. I think the injen gives a slightly better sound when combined with an exhaust. Short ram intakes imo are a waste of money. Its all sound and very little power comparedto a cai. You might as well spend an extra 100 and get true noticable power increase with a cai.
Judging by reviews in the genesis coupe and my experiences with both cai's I recommend the injen but if you are saving money with a aem you won't be disappointed buying the aem. Its still excellent quality and I still recommend it highly as well

i had injen sri on my tiburon and it was really nice, it wasn't as short, and sat right behind my headlight, i plan on getting a genesis in the next week or so, and i would buy an sri for mine, but that is mainly because i live in FL and when it rains sometimes, it pours, so no chance taking for me

you can't compare intakes of the brands mentioned from different cars are each cars intake and engine compartment space restricts its design... which effects performance and sound... please refrain from comparing parts from different cars as its misleading.

Though you may be correct about one small detail concerning compartment spaces and restrictions. You have totally factored out these companies R&D is impeccable when bringing out products. According to injen R&D they can harness 15hp from the 3.8 and AEM can harness 13.5. Judging what they have done in my vehicles I woldnt hesitate in choosing either.
We are discussing the brands overall performance when we bring up other vehicles. I've used 3injen intakes and 2 aem intakes over the last decade.
We who use it in other vehicles are just expressing how historically these brands have done well. My 3.5 altima with aem intake has given me 9hp at the wheels. In my 09 G37 my injen gave me 12.5rwhp. In my 98 altima. I got 6hp from my aem intake and from my 06 G35 I got 10.5rwhp from my injen exhaust.
The 3.8 engine is comparable in size to my current and past infinitis and my current nissan. I would trust them again without hestitation due to my vast experience with the product. How is that misleading. What can you contribute to your experience with CAI's???????

All I am saying is just because say AEM produces the best (as an example) CAI for a nissan sentra doesn't mean its the best available for the Genesis coupe... as for your question regarding my experience with cai's your feeding into my point... my past experience is worthless because my past experiences have been with Neons, Avengers, Firebirds, Durango's and Patriots each of which had a different branded CAI because I researched to see what each company would produce then set up a ratio of bang for the buck and bought the one I felt best suited my needs. I am not saying not to trust certain company's I am only suggesting that everyone researches what others have seen on the Genesis Coupe as it will be different from that on a Sentra or Civic, then make an educated purchase. Noone should see anyone wrong with that.

The reason I am choosing AEM over Ingen is the size of the replacement windshield washer tank. To me a couple of horsepower isn't worth having to refill my washer tank every week.
