    Default TWM short shifter installed

I got mine in last friday and got to install it on saturday. Overall i am very pleased with it. The install was very easy and straight forward. In the instructions (which were very easy to follow) it said i needed to remove the resonators and heatshield under the car but once i had the car lifted i saw i had enough room to do it without removing those things. The install took me a little under an hour to do. The shifter is very good quality and it feels amazing to shift with. Right after i installed it tho it felt a little notchy but after about 20 miles of driving it felt great. It is alot shorter throw than the stock shifter but its still very easy to get in and out of all the gears. This is a great product and i would definantly recomend it. Thanks TWM!

    And heres a couple pics:

Thanks for the great review, glad to see you like the short shifter!

As for the installation, I see you drive a 3.8, the manual was pictured on a 2.0T. There is a lot more room right under the shifter in the 3.8, therefore as you state it it might not be absolutely necessary to remove the heat shield and unbolt the resonator part of the exhaust line.

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Default TWM, good to go!

I finally got around to get some snapshots of my TWM setup.

The spherical knob is a good match to the quick throw that TWM provides. The TWM leather is a little thinner than the stock boot, which actually gives it a better appearance and movement.
Overall, very pleased with the result.
