    Default Next Stage Power Pro 2 - 3.8 V6 - Fail

Well the results are in for Road Race's NSPP. The claim is 20HP more and more trq... well the Dynos from this morning are not even 10 HP, closer to 6.. only 16 pounds of trq. So many of us that were following the thread on another site are passing on this. We all had our hopes up... but it does not do as they claim. I was so hoping for better results....

That thread makes my head hurt.

The dyno graph appears to me to show a nice increase throughout the RPM range. I dunno what the issue is.

I think the problem is with Peak HP gains... The dyno on RRMs website shows about 22whp gain on the top end while Beemerdudes dyno showed 4-5hp on the top end. Midrange gains did seem pretty good though.

Actually folks some smarter folks than I interpreted the Dyno to be not so bad at all. You may want to visit the thread yourself. But I ran the results by an good friend of mine and after his review, based on the price, the HP gains and also not worry about voiding warranties and or you insurance, he felt it is not a bad inexpensive mod. That is however more so for V6 since there are more mods for Turbos and so on. I am thinking I may indeed get one. If I do, I will do a proper review and video showing install and as well my driving experience. I will post these results here as well as my Son's web site since I have more control over the size of video... Plus my son will make the video prof looking. So keep an eye out on his site t3hlph3lp.com (that is techhelp with 3s). I will also post an update here....

PM me if you would like to be updated if and when I get one.

So again guys, there is hope.. After much much much reading... perhaps this mod is a good value... I mean the ones by friend is used to cost $4000 but voids warranty.

The bang for the buck is certainly there with NSPP for the V6, especially since there aren't any other options...

I think the main problem people have with the NSPP is the way it was marketed and Rocks comments to people. $349 for 20ft/lbs avg and 10whp avg is not a bad deal at all, IMHO.
