Haha Im sorry guys... and it's really hard to tell in your pics...
the reason being is that the last AEM CAI I saw looked like this:
yours almost looks like the 2.0 version of the intake... but like I said, it is really hard to tell from the pic

I just couldn't find the post where iLexx said that :P
cut out the pic to save room, but if that isn't a CAI what is? My deffinition must be messed up.. I thought a CAI took colder air from outside the engine compartment, like how it is in the pic, and a SRI (Short Ram Intake) just took all the OEM garbage out of the way that usually restricts air intakes. If I'm wrong please correct me cause I don't like spreading false information.
Also:
Anyone else notice the coolant on the floor?

Haha no you are correct... the way I looked at your picture at first, it just looked like a short ram, it was really hard to tell
Long story short... through hyperautoclub weve had the AEM intakes for a while now... one of our members is the one in the picture... and I have the one for the 2.0
I wasnt really trying to say anything for a while, but they're available now so eh![]()
I think the AEM intake looks pretty nice! I actually like the AEM washer fluid tank design better than Injens. Although Injen does offer the additional mounting arms to hold the intake in place. Not sure if I could see that on the AEM one from the photo. Looking forward to seeing more. Also Lex how does the 2.0 Intake look/feel?

Is the intake available in the U.S. dealerships as well, or just in Canada?
