when you took apart your old one didn't you keep it?
Gawd... 1k$... that seems to be the magic number for exhaust for this car... but I mean.. it is Borla..
Hey Snoop,
I took one. Shop installed an h-pipe for cross over instead of a x-pipe, so it sounded a little too low. Had the h removed and the x installed Saturday, and had the 2 secondary cats removed as well. It sounds amazing!!!!!! But if I leave it in auto it has a little too much rasp. In manual mode its perfect. That's why im on the prowl for stock reso's, to get rid of the raspyness. At least I hope that fixes it. Ill make a video of the way it is now and post it soon. And ill post the h-pipe version too so you can hear the difference.

The muffler and tips are still sitting on the shelf at the shop, in one piece. When I go get some reso's installed I'm gonna pick it up. I don't know what happened to the mid pipe with the reso. I'll have to ask them. I wish I did kept everything. I can kick myself for not. LOL...
I'm here to tell ya, mine cost wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy less than $1000. For parts and labor. The kits are super nice, and I do like them a lot. But its a lot of money. I didn't want to hack up my exhaust either, but decided I'd rather save some money on exhaust, and use it for other stuff.
