Default 5700 Miles and I need brakes

I noticed today a fairly large ridge forming on my right rear disc. I guess Hyundai will be doing a brake job on my car.

I want 4 new discs and pads installed. There's no way I'm driving without a matched set.

I've noticed my cars brakes have certainly worn down a bit in the 9k miles I've got on her. Are you running Brembos or Regular?

Let me know what it costs you!

Bummer man. Hope they get you fixed up. I've got the non track and even at 10K miles I've noticed they don't have the bite they did when new.

That's just it, I don't beat on my brakes. I downshift!. I think I got either a bad disc, or bad pads. Either way something is wrong. It would make more sense if it were the front.

in canada brembo brake cost 900$ each rotor
    and 400$ for pads
    total rear 2200$ + labor +12.5%
this is why i d'ont have brembo brakes on my genesis.

is it possible there's a small rock that got caught between the rotor and the pad? It happened in a friend of mines car. It's rare but it has happend before

^ my thoughts exactly...pull the pad off and take a look....pull the debris out and rub the pad down a little bit shove it back in there and whalla....

although if you are (and you are) under the 1 year 12 month period...it will be covered. good luck with that though
