Default Big A$$ turbos by Garrett

so we all know about the 350hp turbo put out lately, but did you know there is 4 other turbos they put out?

they also have out for the gen coupe 2.0T:
-they are all Garrett turbo's from ATP-

    -400hp GT2871R
    -450hp GT3071R
    -500hp GT3076R
    -600hp GT3582R

and all the kits are under 2 grand

all would take some major tuning, but just to know we know have the ability to go over 500hp is mind blowing

all the turbos can be found at

Looks good and all but I believe it was AMS that proved anything about around 350whp could blow the pistons? I forget or something. So if you plan on these bolt on kits you are gonna have to do some forged internals and lots of other work!

The 3.8 is already tail happy at 250 to the rear. So it would probably be the same for the 2.0. I think 300 to the rear is the limit of comfort (noise) and drivability.

I wish the tuners would just start there with kits instead of touting 400+ which I'd never do...which means no market for me and most importantly no money from me and other (probably the majority) conservative drivers.

This is why I’m cross shopping the BMW 335i. It’s already at where I’d hope the tuners would set the Genmy.

i personally wouldnt go over 350 for the t anyways, but just the fact there is a 600 hp kit is sick.

yep. it was a bi of a pain installing. the stock vacuum hoses do not fit on the turbo. and when it says bolt-on, fuck that. had to do more modifications and taking everything a part than it took me to install everything.

Thats sweet they offer bolt on upgrades for you guys. I'm running a 3076 on my civic and its an incredible street turbo. Dual ball bearing response is awesome! I get full boost at 4,000rpm so that makes for a huge power band on my motor. Plus the sound of a 30R is intoxicating!
