LOL sfgenkid you bought the garrett turbo before any other mods?! Thats like $2k-$3k right? Ouch....

    As for OP,

I am suprised that the CAI gave you worse gas mileage and no gain in power? Have you checked via dyno before and after? After we installed the cold air intake on both our 2.0T and 3.8 we noticed some immediate power increases and as for the 3.8 gas mileage has certainly gone up.

If you are looking for best bang for your buck on the Turbo model I would recommend the PowerX from PowerAxel. Seriously amazing! You will gain about 20-30hp and 30-40tq with just a 2 minute reflash using their module. Also gas mileage went up for us in our 2.0T. I would also recommend going with a turbo back exhaust (makes some very solid power) and also replacing factory piping and intercooler with aftermarket will net you some performance as far as holding boost longer and boost pressure increase.

Best of luck! Hopefully the other turbo owners can vouch. I recommend talking to CrispedPenny as he has intake, intercooler and PowerX.

well i couldnt find any intakes that would fit it except the ATP intake. and the sfr bov. but when your routing the oil lines on the bottom of the turbo, the return line, it doesnt fit. you have to cut the sides of the pipe so it fits. and its not going to line up completely. but it fits aftee you do some things that arnt bolt on XD. OH and also.... that intake made me drop a shitload of power. so i put on the stock airbox with the intake pipe to it and got all my power back. im thinking to get the cpe intake and now use the pipe they give you. ill use the atp pipeing and then get a 3in to 4in jacket. and it should work. if not, ill be selling a cp-e inatke :D oh and that little black box with a 20psi map should make the bigger turbo even more fun

forgot to mention, my dad and i went 50/50 on the turbo. since we somewhat share it. 2142k

I deleted my second cat (70$ at my local shop), AEM CAI for good flow and Injen Intercooler pipes and it's a noticable gain and slightly better milage (my coupe already got some incredible milage so I'm not expecting too much gain there)
