you can use your OEM valve as a "block off plate" but it might cause a check engine light. Deffinately use the one you ordered for best results.
so i just got in my bov kit from hks and i was reading installs on it and i noticed it doesnt come with the stock diverter valve block off plate. so do i need one ? i ordered one from atp turbo anyway so i had it just in case. but i think im gonna take off the stock one because it doesnt make sense to have two. figured i would try and get some opinions. thanks guys!

i just installed my kit and it works great. i didnt use the block off plate yet. so basically the hose off the factory bov that plugs in is just recirculating the air? i mean hks would include the plate if it needed it i think. for the price the kit is i think they did there home work and deceided it wasnt needed?
