If I remember correctly Arvin (from PowerAXEL) suggested after doing the flash to unhook the battery for a bit to clear the MAP settings, then let it idle for a few minutes to use the new flash settings for it's calibration.

One fellow on another forum had that problem, had loads of stuff upgraded and the car pulled really bad, cleared the MAP settings, let it adjust itself again and did really well after.

After mods you could keeps using the flashes provided, but to get the best gains you'll have to send your PowerX module in for a retune.

I heard on another website that using cruise control and accelerating with the buttons on the wheel forces the car into limp mode with this reflash... Is that true?

I do this quite often and never had it go into limp mode so I'd say it isn't true.

nope....what your essentially doing (since its electronic throttle) is pushing the button instead of moving the pedal...the computer sees the same TPS voltage.

Oh the youtube video of us testing the poweraxel tune was literally like the first run we did. We didn't do any real consistant runs in that clip. The car is noticiably faster and without doubt the best bang for buck mod you can do on the 2.0 right now. Just ask CrispedPenny he just bought the PowerX from us.
