    Default 600 HP turbo by ATP

    I would like to swap the stock turbo with the atp 600hp what other mods would i have todo besides the intercooler ?

    To get 600hp out of the motor it is going to take a BUNCH of other parts. Fuel upgrade, tune, forged internals probably etc...

    yeah, from everything I've read the stock internals for the 2.0 are only good till 350-450hp, Manely makes forged pistons and rods and they look really good. Intercooler, piping, exhaust (stock exhaust I don't think would handle that kinda of power), BOV, Wastegate, Injectors, ECU tune (a must), exhaust header, spark plugs. To make 600hp would be quite a feat. Actually.. you might even need to change your tranny.. depending on your torque because I don't think the stock tranny can handle past 450ft-lbs (M/T) 350ft-lbs (A/T).

    can the auto handle 350 ft lbs? I've read in the neighborhood of 250

    There is a guy from another site over 600hp. I'm not 100% sure what he did. He does have some one-off stuff on his car

    I've tried finding more detailed specs on the trannies but since they're Hyundai designed it's pretty hard. Everything also seems to be guess work with this engine, one guy on another forum spun a bearing just flashing his.
