Wink **RWDsnail's CP-E FMIC and more! Install pics!!**

    This arrived....

    :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

CP-E Front mount intercooler, CP-E Factory intercooler replacement kit, oil cooler, powersteering cooler, BOV flange with HKS SSQV, block off plate, All black powdercoated piping.

Install was very simple, and it is literally all bolt on, no bending or cutting or anything.

    TIPS:

**ATTN: those who order an oil cooler**
You will need an oil filter adapter plate. It mounts between the block and the oil filter, and is called a "sandwich" plate by some. It has two nipples comming off it to route the lines for the oil cooler. I found out I needed this the hard way, so DO NOT look for an oil line to tap into.

Power steering cooler went on with out any issues, not much leaks out when you swap the hoses anyways. You may need a little bit to top it off.

Factory by pass valve- you may want to use longer screws than the stock ones since the block off plate is thicker than the corners of the stock recirc valve where the screws go in.

Blow off valve- C-clamp is a pain in the butt to get on, I highly recomend special c clamp pliers for this.

MAP sensor- check that it fits perfectly ( lined up, no spaces or gaps) and tighten it all the way.

    Performance gains:

I have not dynoed yet but the car feels a lot stronger. Its as if I loosened its belt after a big meal. You can hear the turbo spool a lot more, the blow off is great, and I can feel the car asking for more power, more pedal to the ground driving...
I will be getting tuned next weekend at the poweraxel event, with complete CP-E bolt ons,550cc injectors, and upping the boost on the stock turbo. I will post results as soon as possible!

And.... ta da!!.. pics: (56k Die :p)

Install is not rocket science at all. I have never installed a FMIC and I had no problem with it. To all out there interested in a high quality FMIC that works good with the stock turbo but also is great for an upgraded turbo and pushing big numbers down the road, this is the kit for you! All high quality welds and hoses and clamps!
If anyone has any questions about the install, feel free to ask!

    Once again,
A BIG thanks to Dmitriy at CP-E for all the hard work and for helping me out almost instantaneously when I routed my oil cooler incorrectly. Great customer service!!

Looks like you have the same exact setup as me. I haven't installed my oil cooler yet though. I ended up getting the greddy oil cooler adapotor w/thermostat from GenRacer a few months before I actually got my oil cooler from CP-E. However, neither the CP-E kit, nor the thermostat came with hose ends. Any idea where to get some that will work with the 1/2 in. hoses that came with the CP-E kit? The fittings on the Greddy adaptor are 10AN male. Let me know...
