    Default FMIC or Exhaust first??

So I know Im doing AEM intake ,fog surrounds and grill first. After that Im not sure which mod to do FMIC or exhaust... FMIC would cost around 1000 and an exhaust probly closer to 2000 (Im gonna do CE-P full turbo back with cats, bung and black tips (pretty much all their options) so it wont be cheap.

What order you think would be best to do it in? Im guessing there is more to gain from exhaust but its the costlier mod.

from what I understand the 2.0 doesn't maximize the OEM exhaust so maybe you'd gain more from the FMIC first?

New IC and you will probably need new injectors too.

I was planning injectors after exhaust and FMIC... I am also planning on raising the boost or maybe ordering a powerX reflash from beyond redline stage 2 flash... That should help me max out my exhaust I little better...

You will DEFINITELY get more gains from the FMIC.. I got +20whp on just the FMIC with the factory intake and everthing, it was my first mod. I think max exhaust gains are from the Downpipe at ~10whp. The rest of the exhaust has no gain at all without tuning.

I would do the FMIC first and then put bigger injectors in as well and get a tune. Sometimes your better off waiting for a GB for an exhaust system or buying one that's being parted off someone elses who may be upgrading or trading the car in. Minimal gains with exhaust although a throatier sound with an exhaust is always a plus.

    ^Exactly.
The DP is worth about 10whp, and opens up flow for other mods, but the rest of the catback is for sound only.

    Plans as of now:
    AEM Intake
    FMIC (Thinking CP-E's)
CP-E Downpipe (catted with O2 Bung)
    SFR Tune and Reflash

Then maybe CP-E cat back, suspension, or some carbon fiber.

I did the CP-e TBE, intake, and BOV/BOP kit first and am very happy with it. If you're into loud noised don't go with the resonator, otherwise it's a good choice if you prefer to stay a little stealthy. IMO go with the FMIC first as you'll most likely get the most gains. I can feel the top end power with the exhaust but it's certainly not as noticeable as another 10 or so hp would be. However, the exhaust does sound very nice and the fit of the tips looks awesome behind the rear bumper.

As for the injectors you should be fine without them most likely even after your reflash. There'a great discussion on Gencoupe regarding this http://http://www.gencoupe.com/2-0t/...injectors.html

Well part of the tune is to boost the boost (lol) up to 18+ psi once the supported mods are on. This has seen the engine running out of injectors so Im gonna get them. Pretty much Im doing a stock turbo build to get everything set up for a possible turbo upgrade. So after a turbo upgrade ill definately need injectors.

But yea CP-E stuff looks really good. I still perfer the AEM intake design better tho. Still not sold on there FMIC tho since it has the replacement crash bar. Not sure if that makes me feel safe. Also love their TBE because of all the options they give. I will be going with a resonator. Still not sure if black tips would look good or not tho.
