    Default Beyond Redline Intercooler kit

I've been shopping around for an intercooler kit (probably next upgrade after exhaust), found loads of them but I wanted something that removes the old cooler completely, maintains the stock crash beam and supports the OEM radiator. Forge has something in the works right now, and I'll wait to see what they do but I've found this too:

Has anyone ever gotten anything from Beyond Redline before? Are they quality? Any sales issues or returns difficulties?
I really just want to upgrade the OEM cooler, not looking for 450+ rwhp.

Stock intercooler is front mount but it's rather small and skinny. I have yet to see the forge kit but I expect good things from them.

So with a new intercooler, do u have to replace all the plumbing or just the intercooler itself?

I haven't seen a replacement intercooler yet that doesn't require redoing the plumbing. You wouldn't really want to reuse the OEM intake parts anyways because they flex quite a bit under stock boost pressure causing losses. If you've got the whole front end off to change the intercooler it's not that much more work to replace the plumbing too.

If you are worried about quality then you will have no problem with BR, they make quality products and the customer service is top notch....just pm Tim and he will go the extra mile to help. I'm going to their shop to install the stage 3 kit at the end of summer.

On the note of intercoolers if you ask me most of the ones on the market could be bigger... they dont fill up the whole front opening plus they have those silly C bent piping...

Im wondering if something like that could be made to make it longer and loses the first 90 degree bend by letting the pipes come out the back of the intercooler... Im gonna be opening up my fog lights surrounds so a bigger IC has got to be better... I want the opening to be all IC

I'm trying to maintain my stock crash bar. I think those bends are part of the fluting so the air smooths into the cooler rather than crashes into a bulk head then turns to go through the fins.

They can exit out the rear and still have a fluid transition.... Yea I want stock crash bar and I dont want to see the ends of the IC in the center lower opening... They are ok to be in the foglight opening but not in the center... I want it all IC I think BR kit is like that if i remember that or the korean import one... the korean import on is the cheapest ive seen at like 850 for pipes and IC
