thats actually pretty good considering I've seen GC380's that get stripped by the G35.
So I raced an Infiniti G35 with exhaust, and I have a stock 2.0 no mods (not yet anyways) we came to the light reved engines then we took off. We both spun tires alittle but still I got it off faster at the start and beat them through 2nd gear, at third they caught up and started to take over. They never lost me and I know its not much to brag about but I though it would have been worse, it was a v6.![]()

Does this count street racing through highway traffic? Because just flying away from a trafficlight on a vacant street doesnt seem like a recipe for death... Theres a time and a place... the issue is that the ones result in deaths are most likely completely ill responsible situations...
There is never a time and place to race on the streets. Not too long ago a 17 year old took out a tree, and killed himself and passenger while racing a mustang on an empty street. It is totally irresponsible to race on any street at any time. You never know what can happen. A dog in the road, someone backing out of a driveway, or at a crossroad, a little kid running out from behind some bushes.
Pmastron, I don't find death or street racing funny or amusing. I am and always have been one of the largest advocates against street racing (feel free to check out that post where the guy was all happy that he was street racing in his new genny). I've been trying to work with my local auto clubs and police to organize safe events where people can race in controlled environments and to get kids off the streets. It's one thing to race and risk your own life, it's another to take out someone who chose not to.

I didn't buy my car to race and im a very responsible and careful driver. My fastest speeding ticket was for a 45 in a 35. And I never drive stupid while a passenger is in the car. Not to start anything or to be mean but I know everyone here at least once has raced this car, how could you not just to see what she has. Racing to me is at the begining, the fastest off, because that is all driver and after there is no point because you can only go as fast as your car. I knew that infiniti would beat me in the long run so I didn't go past 3th gear, I just wanted to see if the monster 1st gear in this car could beat the infiniti's. So please don't call irresponsible if you don't know.
